On the second day of the truce, the following are the most recent developments:

US-Iran negotiations
Despite bragging that US attacks had destroyed Iran's atomic program, Trump stated that the US will engage in new nuclear talks with Iran.

After 12 days of fighting, he informed journalists that both countries were "both tired, exhausted." He said that negotiations with Tehran were scheduled for "next week."

"We may make a deal. "I'm not sure," he continued. They fought in a war, and now they're returning to their own planet. Whether there's an understanding or not is irrelevant to me.

Masoud Pezeshkian, the president of Iran, said on Tuesday that his nation will "assert its lawful rights" to the sustainable use of nuclear electricity while also being open to resuming talks.

"Decades" of harm

According to Trump, the US attacks caused Iran's nuclear program to regress by "decades" and resulted a "total obliteration" of its nuclear capability.

Trump said that the truce that has been in place since Tuesday is working "very well" and that "they're not likely to be generating weapons for a long time."

However, US media previously reported that the weekend attacks did not completely destroy Iran's enriched uranium stockpile or centrifuges, according to persons familiar with the preliminary US intelligence analysis.

Based to the Defense Information Agency study, the US bombardments delayed Iran's nuclear program by many months by blocking access to specific sites without demolishing subterranean structures.

"Significant hit"

Although it is "still early for evaluating the outcome of the operation," the Israeli military claimed to have dealt a blow to the nuclear ambitions of Iran.

Brigadier General Effie Defrin, the military spokesperson, said at a televised news conference, "I think we have delivered a major blow to the nuclear program, and I can also say we've have pushed back it by several years."

Benjamin Netanyahu, the prime minister of Israel, declared a "traditional triumph," in the 12-day battle on Tuesday and promised to stop "any attempts" by Iran to re-establish its nuclear program.

"Disgraceful"
NATO chairman Mark Rutte's effusive letter to Trump about the US attacks was called "disgraceful, despicable, and irresponsible" by Iran's foreign ministry spokesperson, Esmaeil Baqaei.

"Badly damaged" is how Baqaei described the damage caused by US and Israeli raids on nuclear facilities, but Iranian authorities have not yet revealed the precise extent of the destruction.

Iran's ground forces
Commandos had worked covertly inside the nation of Iran, "deep within hostile soil and created operational flexibility of action for us" throughout the conflict, Israeli military commander Eyal Zamir said on Wednesday.

He was the first public statement by an Israeli official acknowledging that Israeli troops had conducted ground operations in the Islamic republic.

Meanwhile, the director of Israel's Mossad spy agency expressed gratitude to the US Central spy Agency (CIA) for its assistance in "joint" wartime operations.

David Barnea, the spy head, said that the CIA "supported Mossad in making the right decisions"

It is uncertain to what degree the CIA allegedly assisted.

Iran relaxes restrictions on the internet
Iranian officials said that the wartime internet restrictions will be gradually lifted.

"The network of communication is being restored to its normal state," the cybersecurity command of the Revolutionary Guards stated in a statement that was distributed by state media.

Majid Akhavan, a spokesperson for the Islamic republic's transport ministry, told the official the Iranian news agency I news agency that the country had reopened the airspace above its eastern half.

Akhavan said that flights "are unlawful until further notice" in other regions of Iran, particularly the capital Tehran.

official funerals On Saturday, Iran will honor renowned scientists and senior military leaders who lost their lives in the conflict with official funerals.

On Thursday, Hossein Salami, the leader of the Revolutionary Guards who was assassinated by Israel on the first day of the conflict on June 13, will be buried in central Iran.

The Iranian health service claims that at least 627 people were killed by Israeli attacks during the conflict.

According to Israeli authorities, 28 persons were murdered in Iran's strikes against Israel.

Iranian lawmakers on the IAEA
Iranian parliament approved halting collaboration with the UN nuclear watchdog on Wednesday.

Iran's parliament speaker, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, said state television that the International Atomic Energies Agency "put its worldwide trust up for auction by refusing to so much as marginally denounce the terrorist assault on Iran's nuclear facilities."
