Iran's ballistic weapons production must also be stopped, according to the Israeli representative to the US.

Israel must eradicate Iran's capacity to build both nuclear weapons and ballistic missiles, according to the country's envoy to the United States on Wednesday.

Referring to Iran's missiles, Yechiel Leiter told CNN's Kaitlan Collins, "They come cruising down from the sky and create tremendous damage." “We also need to eliminate that production capacity.”

"They cannot possess the weapons necessary to destroy Israel, as they assert and wish to do on a daily basis," he continued.
"It might require numerous strikes, it might demand something else, or it might necessitate one of our surprises," Leiter remarked when asked if Israel could destroy Iran's Fordow nuclear enrichment complex, which is situated deep under a mountain close to the city of Qom.

When asked how Israel could respond if the US stayed out of the war, he replied, "We have a few weapons up our sleeves."

"We will know what to do if we are forced to investigate and prosecute this on our own. "We will not permit Iran to possess a nuclear weapon," he informed Collins.

Nearly 3,000 people have registered for aid in the Middle East as Australia starts its evacuations from Israel.

With almost 3,000 of its nationals registered for aid in the Middle East, Australia reaffirmed its demand that Iran stop any nuclear weapons projects as it starts to evacuate from Israel.

Despite a "increasingly dangerous" scenario in the Middle East, Australia is focusing on moving a couple of people out of Jerusalem by land and hopes to transfer others in the next 24 hours, Foreign Minister Penny Wong indicated lawmakers Thursday in Canberra.

On Wednesday, a small group was evacuated from Israel via land, and the government promised to help with other crossings if it could.

Wong stated, "Iran has options here, that it should choose to stop its program, any one of them, and to resume talks."

Iran has long insisted that the goals of its nuclear ambitions are non-combative.

Wong stated, "With regard to the Australians in the area, I would say that this is a very dangerous and stressful circumstance, therefore we are very much focused with doing that we can to support you."

It goes without saying that the government has actual, strict limitations on its authority. The airspace is still closed.

According to Wong, Australia's official travel advisory is unchanged, with 1,200 of its people registered for aid in Israel and 1,500 in Iran.

"If it's safe when you do so, leave; if not, take cover," Wong said.

Once more, when it comes to Israel, we want to help Australians wherever we can.
