Israel threatens to ‘eliminate’ Khamenei after Iranian missile strike

Report: Turkiye getting ready for possible conflict readiness

  • As the Israel-Iran war rages on, Turkey has tightened security along its border with Iran, according to a Turkish Defense Ministry source who told the Reuters news agency that Ankara has not noticed any unusual Iranian migration.
  • Speaking on a condition of anonymity, the source told Reuters that Turkiye was working to maintain a high level of possible combat readiness by utilizing locally made radar and weapon systems to build a multilayered combined air and missile defense system.
  • The source also said that Turkiye's Quick Reaction Alert planes had taken off following Israeli attacks on Iran, its neighbor to the southeast, and that they were still patrolling the country's borders in case Israeli airspace was invaded.

Tomorrow, Iran's FM will meet with leading European diplomats.

Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has confirmed plans to meet with his British, French and German counterparts, as well as the European Union’s top diplomat, tomorrow in Geneva, according to Iran’s state-run IRNA news agency.
He said the meeting had come at the request of the three European states.


Numerous planes scattered from the US military installation in Qatar

Many of the planes that are normally on the tarmac inside of Al Udeid Air Station outside of Doha, Qatar, a significant US military installation in the Middle East, have been scattered, according to the Associated Press.
The tarmac of the airbase has deserted, according to a satellite image acquired on Thursday by World Labs PBC and examined by AP. The air base is usually crowded with numerous fighter airplanes, transport planes, and drones.

The United States Embassy in Israel advises its employees to stay put.

  • Due to continued confrontations with Iran, the US consulate in Israel has issued a statement instructing its employees to remain indoors.
  • The United States Bureau of State is making attempts to ensure that private US citizens leave Israel, the embassy stated.

Following a strike near its embassy in Tel Aviv, Kenya calls for protection for diplomatic sites.

  • Following a strike on the Ramat Gan neighborhood of Tel Aviv that occurred just a few hundred meters from its embassy, a senior Kenyan diplomatic has urged all parties to refrain from putting diplomatic missions in jeopardy.
  • According to Korir Sing'Oei, chief secretary at Kenya's Foreign Affairs Ministry, "foreign missions are unalterable under international agreements and must be exempted and spared from combat at all times," the Reuters news agency said.
  • A message from Kenya's ambassador to Israel was also relayed by Sing'Oei, stating that embassy employees were safe and were simply working from home.

Report: More people are hurt in today's attacks on Israel

According to Israel's state television, 137 injured individuals were taken for medical care from the Iranian-attacked locations today.
